Summary

The Wash Bay Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the wash bay at Diamond Environmental Services. This position ensures the efficient, safe, and high-quality cleaning of all company inventory while leading a team of wash bay attendants. The Wash Bay Lead plays a key role in maintaining operational standards, implementing process improvements, and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and support wash bay staff to ensure efficient daily operations
• Assign tasks, manage schedules, and maintain high cleaning standards
• Clean and sanitize portable restrooms and equipment as needed
• Inspect equipment for quality and functionality
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Enforce safety protocols and report incidents or hazards
• Promote a positive team culture focused on improvement and accountability
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role (preferred)
• Bilingual (Spanish & English)
• Experience in equipment cleaning, sanitation, or related field
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to perform physical tasks and work in outdoor conditions
• Ability to bend/stoop, climb, stand and sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Commitment to safety and teamwork

• Must be available weekends, holidays and all shifts based on customer & business needs

Pay: $23.30 per hour
