Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources and Payroll Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a basic background in HR processes and payroll. Under the direction of the HR Director, this role involves handling various HR functions and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures as well as payroll processes. This is a great opportunity for someone to start entry level and learn both HR and Payroll.

Duties:

– Assist with payroll processes, using Inova systems

– Assist with processing Worker’s Comp claims with managers and third parties to ensure forms are complete, accurate and filed in accordance with timelines and regulations.
– Handle payroll entries, adjust timecards, and assist employees with timecard inquiries
– Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems
– Will train and assist with Prevailing wages and certify payroll
– Will be a backup in conducting onboarding for all new hires

– Will assist with HR projects as required.

Requirements:

· AA degree or working on a bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred

-Must be bilingual in English/Spanish

· Minimum of six months of experience in human resources or payroll

· Proven experience in HR coordination or related roles

· Basic understanding of payroll management processes

· Basic knowledge with HRIS systems for employee record maintenance

-HR Certification a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 – $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
