We are looking for a Miramar – Lube Tech & Welder / Fabricator – HD Truck & Trailer to join our team with welding experience & minimal Mechanic Experience! You will be responsible for custom metal and steel fabrication & repairs, in combination with minor truck maintenance & repairs at a well-known private fleet.

Responsibilities:

Heavy Duty Turck fabrication, Trailers, and other Heavy Duty Related Fabrication.
Welding, body mounts, exterior panels, Trailer Bodies, cross members and engine compartments, Toolboxes & Racks.
Welding / Fabricating Trailers, Truck Bodies, Upfits
Lube Tech Experience for Minor Truck Repairs, Tires, & Oil Changes on heavy Duty Vehicles Preferred but not required

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a fabricator
Knowledge of shop equipment & all Welding Processes
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Knowledge in fabricating heavy duty truck bodies & trailers
Organization skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Miramar – 12PM – 8:30PM WEEKDAYS (MON, TUE, THR, FRI)
6 AM -2:30 PM SAT
WED Overtime Availability
