Billing Clerk

Pay: $18-$20 DOE

Our Billing Clerk performs many accounting, customer service and organizational task to ensure all our Fence Accounts are billed correctly and in a timely manner.

These duties and responsibilities include but are not limited too:

  • Creating and sending invoices once work orders have been completed
  • Communicating with our customers, and at times, with our Service locations to resolve billing inconsistencies and errors.
  • Running credit card payments
  • Generating credits
  • Assisting our Outside Sales reps with Account Management
  • Sending and responding to emails in a time sensitive manner
  • Meeting deadlines

Our Billing Specialist skills and qualifications are as follows:

  • Strong communication, including writing, speaking, and active listening
  • Great customers services skills, including interpersonal, patience and empathy
  • Good problem- solving and critical thinking skills
  • Basic math and accounting skills
  • Organization, time management and prioritization a must
  • Ability to be discreet and maintain the security of customer information
  • Effective computer skills to input to use account management software in a timely and effective manner
  • Work well under pressure
